Bristol, PA September 30, 2009 – AMI Entertainment Network went all in at the recent AMOA show in Las Vegas by delivering innovations in all facets of coin-op designed to help operators grow their businesses. In addition to unveiling Jackpot Corner, a must-have Megatouch puzzle game for 2010, the company announced it is offering an unprecedented 3-year warranty on any domestic broadband-connected, 2009-built Aurora Widescreen or Rx. AMI didn’t stop there, unveiling a 32” vertical jukebox, a dramatically enhanced jukebox user interface that will be offered at no cost to its operators, and the details of a guaranteed revenue source through TAP.tv video advertising.
AMI Entertainment announced the specifics of the new 3-year “bumper to bumper” warranty at its annual AMOA distributor breakfast.
“This warranty program protects an operator’s investment,” said Mike Maas, AMI Entertainment Network’s CEO. “We strongly believe in the reliability and production quality of our hardware and this sends a message to operators that they can believe in us too.”
On the music side, AMI announced a completely new user interface upgrade for all AMI-powered jukeboxes. This intuitive interface with improved search capabilities and a striking design is poised to increase play, and AMI is making it available to operators at no cost.
AMI Entertainment cemented its commitment to providing strong ROI for operators by announcing a guaranteed advertising revenue stream through TAP.tv, a private TV network that streams directly into establishments. Along with a simple 15 minute setup process, compelling content and endless advertising opportunities, participating operators receive a minimum of $25 per month, per location and a share of advertising revenue.
AMI unveiled new hardware with the Rock-Ola Rock-Star Lx, a wall-mounted Internet jukebox that turns any night at the bar into an event. The smooth, modern styling features a split screen design that’s half user interface, half promotional screen. The eye-catching Lx, powered by the AMI network, boasts over 650,000 of the best songs from major and independent labels as well as local indie artists.
No AMOA show is complete without the annual showcase of the newest Megatouch software. The 2010 release features Jackpot Corner, the next step in the evolution of match making games; along with 11 other innovative titles for the Ion platform, 9 of which are available for Force. New hits like Little Shop of Treasures, Stunt Squirrel, and Text Twist Lightning, are sure to draw new fans in droves, while aesthetic updates to the games Monkey Bash and Funkier Monkey, give a fresh look to proven fan favorites.
“At AMOA, we wanted to show distributors and operators that we are as committed as they are to growing their businesses and reenergizing the industry as a whole,” added Maas. “By standing by our products and their investments with warranties, giving free hardware upgrades, guaranteeing ad revenue and developing games that make money, AMI is doing just that.”
